Basic Training Course on,” Basics of Total Knee Arthroplasty under the aegis of UP Chapter of Indian Orthopaedic Association
As a part of its academic activities Concern India Orthopaedic Centre and Viklang Kendra, jointly organized a Training Course on Basics of Total Knee Arthroplasty, under the aegis of UP Chapter of Indian Orthopaedic Association on 22nd Oct.2005 Concern India Orthopaedic Centre organized a teaching course on, “Basics of Total Knee Arthroplasty”, under the U.P. Chapter of Indian Orthopaedic Association at Allahabad on 22nd October 2005. Dr. Bhasker Banerji was the Organising Secretary. Dr. B. K. Dhaon, Prof. Emeritus and Consultant to St. Stephens Hospital , Delhi, Dr. Mathew Verghese, Director St. Stephens Hospital Delhi, Dr. Shekhar Agrawal Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of Sant Parmanand Hospital , Delhi, Dr. Amit Rastogi Varanasi of Banaras Hindu University, Dr. S. K. Srivastava of Lucknow and Dr. Vikas Kapoor Calcutta were the faculty.
It was a very stimulating course and 55 orthopaedic surgeons attend particularly from the Eastern Part of the State of Uttar Pradesh. This course dealt with various aspects of Basics of Total Knee Arthroplasty.1

7.ARTHRITIS & DIABETES CAMP
Concern India Trust organized arthritis and Diabetes Camp several times during year for creating greater awareness. The Camp was for of all age groups. In the camp free medical advice was given and free blood sugar testing for all patients was done. This camp organized on 19.11.09, Dr. Bhasker Banerji, Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. S. K. Agrawal, Physician & Heart Specialist, Dr. S. B. Singh, Homeopath, given free advice, 45 patients attend the camp.

The Rural Camps are held by Concern India trust.as a part of its ongoing program. It draws upon its own resources and takes the help of organisations to find a suitable venue and of trained manpower which it HIRES and vehicle when necessary.

In 14-15 19 Rural Camps were held in Koraon, Tehsil- Semhari Bagh Rai Centre of JIMARS , Karchana Block, Allahabad UP, and in Paschim Sharira ,Kausambhi
1861 Persons with Disability and Handicapped were examined.

PROJECT : PROJECT FOR Rehabilitation of SPECIALLY CHALLENGED children, WITH project PARTNER JIMARS (Viklang Kendra) run by Rotary Sponsored Crippled and Youth Welfare Society.
This year 13-14, we have focused our efforts on 13 children with various disabilities and using the help of professionals and social workers we are trying to rehabilitate/integrate them in the mainstream. We have met with limited success. The children identified are shown. Besides partial sponsorship of the surgery of 26 children has been done .They too are enlisted. Free Rural and Urban Camps for the Disabled and General Medical Camps have also been conducted
